What aspects of village life do you find most enriching or meaningful?
Here there is none of the stress that you would encounter in a city, nor the impersonality. You will start your day with one (or more) good morning on the street, with the fresh air hitting you and the smell of the sea all around you! The community is friendly and ready to welcome anyone who wants to become a member.
Do you have recommendations for visitors to truly experience the authentic charm of our village?
It depends on what each visitor is looking for… our place covers a wide range of tastes… for sure. I would recommend that someone prefer to visit us during Halloween to experience the three-day celebration for Koutroulis' Wedding or in the summer as Methoni is a very summery destination!
Can you share a special memory or story that reflects the unique character of our community?
No matter what's on my mind, a walk in "Iliodysio" can clear my mind of everything... The sea, the breeze and of course the magnificent view are enough to make you appreciate the simple things in life!
If you could turn back time, would you do anything differently in your life?
I believe that our decisions and actions contribute to getting us where we are today, so no, I wouldn't want to change anything in the past!
