What aspects of village life do you find most enriching or meaningful?
The castle of Methoni, the beach in the past, the natural beauty of the area.
Do you have recommendations for visitors to truly experience the authentic charm of our village?
Cultural events (Koutroulis wedding, naval battle celebration) walks in nature and in various locations (Papa lake, forest at the meteorological station, medieval church, etc.).
Can you share a special memory or story that reflects the unique character of our community?
Koutroulis' wedding in the past, the village matchmaker, the pranks that the older ones played among themselves and that when we were in elementary school we would get together and secretly enter the castle through the walls to play hide and seek with the castle guard.
If you could turn back time, would you do anything differently in your life?
I would run for president/mayor so that it doesn't lose the natural beauty that the village used to have and they would start windsurfing from the age of ten.
