What aspects of village life do you find most enriching or meaningful?
In Methoni you can very quickly find yourself in nature, enjoy the sea, go out for food, meet up with your friends, do some sport, even go to work without even getting a car!! Go to the neighboring village in just 5 minutes and choose to spend some time relaxing there!!
Do you have recommendations for visitors to truly experience the authentic charm of our village?
The visitor has many choices in Methoni, he can go diving in the crystal clear sea, rent a boat and tour the islands just opposite, take a walk in the forest of Agia Paraskevi, eat very good food in the taverns of the area, take a walk in the Castle, see the most beautiful sunset!!
Can you share a special memory or story that reflects the unique character of our community?
The memories are many and varied from Methoni, I wouldn't change my summers here for anything where you can enjoy a moment of recreating your swim, play your rackets, drink an ouzo and return home barefoot in 2 minutes!!
If you could turn back time, would you do anything differently in your life?
It would be wrong to answer this question simply, I would be canceling everything I have lived to date, everything I have conquered, everything I have enjoyed!! Maybe I will be able to answer in my old age....it is still early!!
