What aspects of village life do you find most enriching or meaningful?
In Methoni and in general in villages like Methoni, there is calm, everything is a little easier, we grow up in better conditions with less stress!!
Do you have recommendations for visitors to truly experience the authentic charm of our village?
The suggestions are many because there is so much you can visit in Methoni! There is the bridge at the Kapodistrian School, the Kapodistrian school, the historic Venetian aqueduct at Syggrou Square and of course our imposing Castle!!
Can you share a special memory or story that reflects the unique character of our community?
One of the historical events in Methoni is a Naval Battle that takes place at the end of April when many of us from the village gather, to set it up you need hands!! It is a unique experience that leaves indelible images!
If you could turn back time, would you do anything differently in your life?
No, I can't think of anything I would like to change about my life, I've done exactly what I wanted to do!
